Going to Harbor Freight tomorrow for metric feeler gauges. Would anyone know their part number for the Flywheel Puller we use?   BDC

Search for "Bolt Puller"

Also get a big hammer. The idea is to cinch the puller bolt up against the center of the crankshaft (press on the flywheel bolt just slightly loose) and then give a very smooth smack with a very big hammer. I use an 8 lb. sledge hammer. Remember, it's not the force opf the push bolt, it's the sudden stop.

I used one from O'rielys auto parts successfully.
They rent them for free w/ a refundable deposit, it was about a $25 deposit i think.

Kiwi has a good suggestion there. Around my area, Advance Auto parts stores have the same credit card secured loaner program.
