I finally found some carb dip, and just for clarification, Do we dip the brass pieces also?  The haynes manual says to dip all metal pieces.  I was able to remove the Accelerator pump nozzle & Emulsion tube, are these pieces dipped or cleaned by hand?  I just wanted to clarify this.  (ok, I dont want to screw it up!!)
A bad marrage is like dirty carbs... It just makes everything else suck.

Dip ALL metal parts for no more than 45 min. Then rinse.

If it ain't rubber, put it in the bucket.  Brass, aluminum, whatever, it's fine in the dip, but as I recently found out, carb cleaner will strip annodizing off of treated aluminum(1971 CB500 float bowls and carb tops...they ended up really shiny once i wiped them up ;D)
Rinse with a good parts cleaner and blast the parts with an air compressor if available to clean off the cleaner.
shiny shiny....

don't bother flushing the carbs with carb cleaner for 2 reasons: one it's a waste, flush the parts with a garden hose then blow out with compressed air, 2, it's dangerous to mix chemicals like that.
