today me and the girl went out on a nice long and twisty ride.  We went out with my neighbor on his cbr600 and us on the Vision.  We did a local twisty road called Deer creek road and then went on from a mtn town called Conifer and on to Evergreen. From there we went up 103, which goes right by Mt. Evans.  Then we went through Blackhawk and Central City and on to Lookout Mtn.  My neighbor was pretty much right up on me most of the time until we got into the switchbacks and fast leaners and his honda was nowhere to be found.

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

I managed to keep it upright so I was fine

There may have been a reason he didn't want to follow too closely.

I don't think there can be anything more frightening than to see a fellow rider down. (On a Rally that is).

I hope Rex is doing better.  Wish I've there.... Whhaaaaaaaaaaaa!

"Wrex" was doing OK when I dropped him off in Boulder on Saturday.  Big hematoma on his left arm.  He hadn't had it professionally examined at that time.  Was considering seeing about it in Boulder this week.

Wish you could have been here, too!
