A Vision in need...

 :) Sadly, GT's Vision didn't get home from the OnROV Fall Ride unscathed :o Here is a copy of a message I've have received from him...

Well we made it back in one piece...however sadly the bike did not  .....the trailer seperated from the ball/hitch ... just minutes from my house ....sending the bike over .....if you could please keep a eye open for the following parts....the tank now has a huge dent and the right lower was destroyed and the yics box was also busted....the right front lens was lost as well....if you come across any of these items in your searches please let me know....the sooner I get it back whole the sooner I will be able to sleep at night.    Thanks GT

Well, with all of the eyes on the forum, all looking for the pieces/parts, as long as the money is available to pick the parts up, it shouldn't be too long.   8)

My Vision is 1800 miles away and in need of it's parts, so I can't be of help right off...   :-\

Hey GT (and Tiger), I may have a few in there, but never in great shape. I can look for a YICS, probably a leaky one; many gas tanks, but all in need of relining (but not completely dented though). Anything I'd have in that list would need work, and so would be cheap.

I probably have a lense and a YIKS box , and none of my spare tanks are wonderful all would need body work  and most likley coating.

I'd offer my spare tank but 1) it's currently on mine & 2) I can't give a firm date when my original will be fixed. :/ If I don't see you have a replacement yet though I'll try to keep you in mind.  At the moment it doesn't leak but it is in need of a cleaning (after which it might leak) and lining.

Thanks all.....I'm definitely in mourning over my damaged V :'(  .....but like Tiger said to me... I'll get thru this.....and it sounds like all parts.....but the lower..... is available right away.....speaking of which.....if those of you..... who have said parts..... would be so kind to pm me what you have available..... and what you would want for it...... I would greatly appreciate it......like I said before the sooner I get her whole again the better....Thanks again to you all GT

Wish I had something you need. All I got is a pair of spare wheels and a busted starter. Good luck with the repairs. (seems like a Vision's Lot in life.)
