Well I thought it would be to let my fellow Vision brothers and sisters know that I have just landed a job, after being laid off back in March.

I will start in 1 weeks time, as I first have to find a replacement vehicle since my 98 Altima gave up the head gasket.  I am going to be back in the maintenance mechanic field, where I belong.

I sent a resume to this company about 4-5 weeks ago and in the last 2 weeks have had 3 interviews with them.  Today was the 3rd interview earlier today and I just got the phone call from their HR department that I got the position.

It looks like they will be very busy because I was asked today how I felt about working long hours and also overtime. (Definitely no problem there $$$$$).  So l may have a normal workplace again.

The company is called Ultrafit and they are a tube bending company, and their specialty is automotive exhaust systems (I think I'll wait abit before asking them to help design a system for the Vision...;)  )

So I am just ecstatic and can't wait to start.  It has been quite boring lately waking up everyday around 9AM...LOL.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA lets go again baby !!!!!!

Remember that good things come to those that wait.  So far so good,as I got to spend more time with my kids this spring and summer.

Well, that's certainly good news.  Congratulations to you, and I hope you like the job.  The people you work with can make all the difference between it being a great place to work or a drudge job.  It should be an educational experience in a number of ways.   ;)

Well looks great today.  I picked up our new car.  A 2011 Nissan Sentra 2.0 and it IS BRAND NEW with only 65 kms on the clock.  Also went to my new workplace today to pick my papers to sign and to read the HR stuff.  Looking forward to this new place.  Just waiting when to ask them if they can design an exhaust system for the V.  They are specialists in small runs from 50 to 1000 pieces.  So maybe we can make something of our own in stainless steel that is just like the MACs.

2 into 1?  (Saves weight, could be more efficient, less expensive)  Form follows function.  Unless you want to design something that looks stunning. ;) :police:

I think what should be in order is to find out how everyone has there engines setup.

e.g. :  jetting, type of air filter used, 82 or 83 set-up, type of current exhaust, and also if the current paint job makes a difference. ;) jk.

A little info from everyone should go a long way.  Also this will probably take some time and not sure if possible at all too.  I will see once my probationary time will end.

That would be cool as my exhaust is ok but there is a scab patch welded on the right pipe where they are known to rust out. I was wondering what I was going to do as eventually I'm sure I need one at some point.
