Wondering if the auction winner is a member here on ROV. Man, I doubt you will find another NOS sitting pretty (perfect!) like that one. These went for over $700 new but finding one leftover these days is about as rare as hen's teeth.

Bid started at $250, winner paid $365 plus shipping. I was outbid, obviously. Oh well. If the buyer ever plans to sell it, even for a profit, then I'd like to standby for the opportunity to buy it. :)

fret not

Seattle, I suppose it's nice to have something that is "perfect" but it's not practical if you intend using it.  If it is perfect you dare not ride it on the street for fear of causing some damage or blemish.  Things are new only one time, after that they are used, even though nicely kept and regularly serviced they are no longer new and perfect.

Every new vehicle I ever got put me on edge for fear of marking it somehow, but after it has picked up some "patina" I could relax a bit more and enjoy using it as it was intended.

Just my opinion, ya know. ;)
Retired, on the downhill slide. . . . . . . . still feels like going uphill!
