:)....In the last two day's I've covered about 300, trouble free, mile's on my "V". Bumped into a guy yesterday who is looking to sell a "good running Vision"....See seperate post!!
To-day I went to a vintage bike show in Richmond Hill, Ontario. It is organised and staged, (in-doors), every year by a chapter of the Canadian vintage bike club.
There where some immaculate restored machines on show, mainly British marks, B.S.A. Triumph, A.J.S. Matchless, Norton, Vellocette, Rudge, Brough, etc, as well as a couple of Ducati's, a Gilera!!!, Ural with side car and a handful of Yamaha's, Honda's, Suzuki's, etc.....AND NOT ONE VISION IN SITE.... :o. Stupid me  :-[  forgot my camera!!!!
In the car park, dozen's of bikes of various make's, styles and year's where coming and going all day....great to just sit back and watch.... 8)
When I first pulled in there where about 30 to 40 guys standing around the car park checking each others bikes out......Now this is NOT the time to do something stupid....like drop your ride as you fly in trying to look cool!!!....and as those that have ridden with me can attest to, my "V"s mac pipes are....shall we say....head turners!!!...from a long(ish) way.... ::) So....I "glide" in real smooth...bank around a couple of "civilian" bystander's and park up with a final "blip" of the throttle.... ;D....Before I can dismount and remove my gloves and helmet I have a couple of guy's come over to give "The Mistress" the once over.... 8) I have to admit...I was as proud as a new daddy with his first born... ;) I was answering question's for a good 20/25 minutes before I went in to the arena to see the show.... :o. I had load's of really nice compliment's about my "V"...from the colour of the paint, the new seat, the Mac's, etc...which is kinda  8) and  :-[ at the same time, if you know what I mean. I was also wearing my "Riders of Vision" T-shirt.....which you can buy on our ROV site... 8)...Go buy one and support our site.....so I even had a couple of people stop me inside to compliment me on the "old girl".
Next year , the Vision is gonna be in the show....So come and vote for "The Mistress"....please.
Great weather, great people, great variety of bike's...I had a Grrrrrreat time.... 8) Finished the day off at "Forks of the Credit River....Belfountain....A "local to home" biker haunt. Given the weather being so good....and the season nearing its end....there where some 35/40 bikes parked up when I arrived....Had coffee and a chat with some of the guy's I know and headed home....Now try having this kinda day on a "run-of-the-mill" ride....I'm still smiling... ;D :D ;) "Long live the Vision".

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA lets go again baby !!!!!!

'82 Vision, Pearl Orange finish, lots of up-grades!!!

Sounds like a cool weekend!  Good luck in next year's show.

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

I know exactly what teeing off in front of folks is like. Large beads of sweat form no matter how cool it is outside. The first tee at the municipal golf course in Sault Ste. Marie, Mi is right next to the restaurant and is in plain view of everyone sitting down. The windows to the restaurant are only about 50 ft. away. The good thing is once your ball clears the first set of trees on the fairway thay can't see your shot so a hook or a slice is hidden. However, if you completely miss the ball.......well just pick it up and go home!  :P
