front carb jet plug???

Looking at the carbs, from top- down, air filter off, inside the airbox carb towers.. front most carb, the front most jet has what looks to be an undrilled hole in it.. is that normal?? it seemed to run ok..

I think you mean (on the right), top.  And I that is normal.

yeah, that little "bb" is normal

BTW, those are your air pilot jets.
there are (1 ea.) main jets behind the brass bolt on the side of the carburetor
and (1 ea.) fuel pilot jets behind the screw cap under the carbs

ahhhh soooo thank you night vision!! yes, upper right most hole has the bb,, just making sure Im not having one of those flashbacks Ive been waiting on!!!
