The Midnight Ride of a Scootertramp

The Bike was ready and the motor was hot
the hour was midnight the time of not
the moon is full and the winds are light
I'm goin' for my midnight ride tonite

the motor vroomed to life the lights shone proud
the tank is topped the pipes throbbin' loud
I got my leather hide and I got this lid
I almost did'nt wear it once And I'm glad I did

so I got on the monster and turned it around
I told it who was boss and I could tell by the sound
of the furies within it everything was alright
me and my monster
on a midnight ride tonight

I almost teared up there.

I went on another MIDNIGHT RIDE last night.
Cruisin' down the pike into the blackness, cutting a path with my highbeams.
The motor putt-a-tuttin' it's throaty song, singing about heat and oil and gasoline and riding me around..

I rode for hours.. it was great..  8)

he fixed me and wrenched me
and cleaned me free of grime
he wiped and a'polished me
he took up all his time
