Yet Another funky REC/REG question

I remembered I just so happen to have another 82 yamaha sitting right next to her,, as I suspected it was plug and play.. On the virago, this R/R put out 14plusish.. on the vision its 15.8ish.... funky.... is there another problem perhaps? Im not a wiring guy and dont really understand the meter yet..

higher than normal voltage usually points to a bad RR

but, that dam chinese stator i had spiked high voltage before giving up.... I think one of h₂o's spiked high also

yeah,, so, I took the 920 RR off and put it on the vision.. over 16V. I put the vision RR on the 920 14v... Now, I wonder,,, My rear turn signals are NOT present=plugged in on the vision.. could that be it??? extra power not being used thats supposedly planned into the system??

shouldnt matter.  would look as if they are not in use to the system.
