TN Biker Killed this past weekend - very freak accident

One of my co-workers husbands was killed this weekend in an unbelievably freak accident.  Two bikeres were actually involved. The odd part is that they were unknown to each other and traveling in opposite directions but hit by the same vehicle.

A driver was making a left turn across Hwy 441 and was struck in the rear by an "impaired" driver in a SUV.  The SUV's front tire came off and struck a biker on one side of the highway.  He was seriously injured. The biker (who was killed) was subsequently struck by the out of control SUV which had spun around and struck him.  He was killed instantly.  He was 45 years old.
