Swapping parts.

Can anyone tell me if any parts from a 78 XS750 triple can be used on the Vision?  I am asking because I have seen a parts bike being offered for free, and if I can use anything off of it hten I will try to get it.  I think that that year bike had Mikuni CV carbs on the triple.  If anything I think I can use some of the parts from the motor alone.  How about the wheel size?  It has a set of rims and tires that are currently mounted.  No fuel tank, seat, controls ets.  Just a frame, wheels, engine and other little tid bits.

I doubt it , they are a generation apart. I can't think of any thing of any consiquece the might work .
You could look on Bike Bandit  and see it there are any common part numbers, between them.
