Just wondering if it is possible to put a fatter tire on the vision, and if it is has anyone done this?

Yes.  Yes.  120 will fit.  No benefit.  Stock is better.

there is a good article in the xz550.de on this, if you can translate it.

^^^^^^^ +1

I have two V's now, one with the stock 100F/110R, and the other has a 110F/120R, and sure enough the stock setup is more nimble and "flicks" easier.

the ONLY advantage I see is the fat tires LOOK better to me.

I heard you can swap wheels from a 82-83 turbo seca (bolt on swap) and get slightly more width, but the rear is DAMN tight for clearance with even a 120, so I'm not sure that's such a good idea.

there is a 82' turbo seca on my local craigslist right now for $500,...wish I could afford it. (the fairings I KNOW would fit)

Because I'm doing so much city travel, I'll probably go back to stock rather than 1 size up like I normally run.  (I currently have 110/120 on front/rear).
