Ok... this may be a dumb question but..
Are the exhaust pipes coming off the rear cylinder supposed to firmly connect to the boxy part of the exhaust ( it connects both sides i think )?
Mine does not, but it is also VERY rusted.

The rear exhaust is supposed to be securely connected to the collector box.  The box is where the exhaust from both the front & rear cylinders meets up and is then sent to the mufflers.  It is a spot prone to rust.

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

That's why many end up with MAC pipes.
