If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

akvision

The stator is on it's way to Art Bone.  You should get it by Friday.  USPO Priority and Insured!

I hope you don't have to install right away. :)

Thanks everyone. This is my last post on this thread.

Lets go one more week on the fork brace, then lucky can put all the numbers in a hat and missus lucky can pick the winner. I'll get busy and pull it off the bike and polish it up.

I want to thank everyone involved with the stator, shock & fork brace raffles, You guys have made a world of difference, i'm definatly keeping the bike. Things are still tight & tough, we're not out of the woods yet, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel (sorry about the cliches).

sorry for the delay on this end of raffle note, I threw my back out the other night & haven't really felt like sitting in the chair at my desk, & haven't been at work (faster connection) a couple of days (wahh wahh wahh, lol)

You are an amazing group of friends & I hope we someday have a chance to ride with each of you!

Thanks!, --Lucky

Good luck... lucky...
Really must be tough at the moment. But you know what they say, what doesn't kill ya can only make you stronger.

The Prophet of Doom

Who is drawing the other raffles (Fork Brace & Shock) - and when? - Is it too late for people to buy additional tickets?

akvision

R,

RickG said a week...

On the shock, ask YJ... I don't think anyone bid on that...????

So, guys where are we... please.

I still have the shock.  How do I get it set up for the auction?

akvision

Like we did the fork brace, they send $ to  Lucky with note 'for Shock' and Lucky lets you know the name of person and ticket(s)  bought.
@ $10 ea ?????

then you pick a date and close the issue and pick a winner...

all simple clean and controled..

Then you get to send the shock to the winner... Announce it in this thread.

Thanks for your help.

The Prophet of Doom

I know I'm foreign and I don't know how things are done in the United States of America but where I come from raffles don't just stop without a little ceremony.  Here there would have been a little count down, a message from the sponsor, a little flag waving,  beers and manly hugs all round, and mighty self congratulation for having done a good deed.  Most importantly (to me as a ticket holder) there would have been an actual drawing, and an actual winner, and the receipt by someone of the grand prize - in theis case a shiny shiny fork brace.

Now, I might seem a little impatient here, but feck, it is a fork brace, which is very exciting.  I can't afford one any other way than this, and it did cost me enough to sponsor three cataract surgeries in Africa, or pay MBA fees at a Samoan university.

What's going on?
