1982/83 crankshaft differences

Hi everyone,
I always enjoy reading the vision forum,now I have a question of my own.What exactly are the differences between the 1982 pt#11H-11411-00-00 crankshaft,and the 83 part#28V-11411-00-00,the yamaha factory manual stated if the 83 crank has a prefix #2 stampted on it,no other crank except another with a prefix #2 can be used or crankshaft failure my occur,I thank every one in advance,that may be able to help.

Basically the differences from what I know is the bearing sizes. Main or rod , I am not sure.

   crank failure in early models forced yamaha to change the material used in mid year, and 83s were changed again, i used to have the service bullitin giving updates but left most of that back at home  wont be able to retrieve till next fall
