Valve adjusting tool

I need to adjust the valves. I have searched and found some references to a home made tool but no pictures or dimensions. Can anyone help me?

I've heard you can also modify the venture valve tool (easier to find than the xz tool)

but, I'd measure the clearances first before I hunted for the tool, just the verify the diagnosis .... you're going to have to do it anyway

Thanks appreciate the help. I will make one and see how it goes. Definitely will be measuring clearances.
