I am a previous owner of a 1983 Yamaha Vision. I owned the bike at the age of 15 years old (back in 1985). I sold the bike after a friend of mine rearended me with his bike. Now, I am on the lookout for another 83' Vision. I have posted a couple of photos of the old bike  ( after it was hit). The quality of the photos are poor - they are scans of mid 80's photos. This is what I would like again blk/gold with the fairing. Great to find this site.

My next scheduled project after I finish an 82 is an 83 with fairing just like your picture,  because of health problems I could probably be talked out of it for the right price.  It was stored inside for a long time, tires are cracked.  All I have done to it was wash the bird poop off. 19.5k miles.   BDC
