TWO Visions 82's

Mac and I went over to Steele's M/C Salvage and discovered two V's in the yard.  One was canabalized and the other looked savable.  Both had tanks... one was definitely in need of hole plugging the other looked pretty good.  Carbs were free and looked unmolested, tci in place, decent seats, and instruments.  If your looking for a special part... the are on the web.  denver CO.

Inane & kwells have both picked through Steele's yard over the past few years.  Now that Boulder Bike Works is closed, I think Steele's is about the only bike yard in the area.

They had an original GL1000 goldy out in the yard. looked very complete. Heck, by turning the key I even got the radio to pop. The none of the rubber seals were weathered at all.
I thought about asking them what they wanted for it. If I had a truck REAL HANDY, I might still. It might be kinda fun to have all those suitcases.

The wife is already supper pissed off at me though.

Only vision parts i've gotten from steeles were some fairing pieces ;)

Seems like every time i go there they never have what im looking for...

Might be worth a look. one had a fork brake, a luggage rack, a nice non-weathered speedo. Both had yics that looked usable. one had a nice tank, and one had an aftermarket seat. I think one exhaust was salvageable. Both bikes could be combines to make one good one, that's for sure.

one had a fork brace!  I think it was a telefix or similar.  One had a very nice tank and pod with bright red color.
