The CB750 is a 77 model . 77 and 78 year models have thinner compression  rings ,than the earlier production. There not available anywhere!  I'm going to attempt to chuck them up in a lathe and re cut the top two ring groves to match the older rings . I'm still trying to find a suitable plastic pipe to make a collett to protect the piston from the chuck.
I won't hear it until the owner installs it in the frame , i have only the engine , which is OK with me!  I never enjoyed reinstalling big fours back into the frame.
