:) I was talking to a Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group (a.k.a CVMG) buddy of mine yesterday. He has been clearing out his shop...down sizing!!...the last wee while. Gone are his Ariel Square Four, a couple of XS650's, a Norton, some Honda's, etc. Don't worry folks, he still has six or seven bikes...LOL

He was telling me about some of what he has left and one ride stood out ::) and no its not a Vision...although a Vision does come in to it.

Ray was telling me about one of his favorite rides, which he has two of!! However, one has to go but he wants it to go to a good home  We chatted for a while about this and that, coming back occasionally to this ride. He eventually says to me that hes never owned or ridden a Vision and seeing his 'ride' is a Vision on steroids, would a swap be of interest :o ;D Now, I've been looking for a bigger touring machine for a wee while...and NO, nothing will ever replace 'The Mistress" ;)

Like the Vision, I wanted something 'interesting'. Being Vision owners, you know what I mean ;D :D :D :D :D... ;)

So a deal has been struck...I'm gonna build Ray a Vision and he is going to rebuild Tiger a... Yamaha XV920R :o 8)

It will take a month or three to get this all sorted, once shes here, I'll get pictures up... 8)

Cool! I'll be looking forward to learning of the progress! Is that the one with the enclosed chain drive and swingarm mounted fender?

I was in aircadets too and those 303's sure do kick ass good.  Did you fire the FN's as well  Those aren't gentle either.

Eclipse motorcycle luggage had a pic of one in their brochure back in the day of a white (I think it was white) 920R with bags parked in front of a desert southwest landscape... spurred my interest in touring for sure. I still have my black tail bag/carry on from '82 in VG condition – good gear. Congrats on your trade match up. I'd think 920R's are rarer than Visions.

Congrats Tiger. I still say its a viagra in disguise, but I am biased.  ;D

Also, congratulations for dumping your Government this week from an envious citizen of The United States of America.
