Obby Oss Day.

Took a coach up to a local celebration at a seaside town of Padstow, national holiday today  ;D.
From the BBC website " Reputed to be the oldest dance festival in the country, Obby Oss Day celebrates the Celtic festival of Beltane - dedicated to the return of the Celtic sun god Bel, that causes the crops to grow and the hours of daylight to lengthen."
So my brother, friend and I joined in the celebration which including eating local seafood, drinking a beer or 2 and watching the locals dance around the streets with their accordians. Returned home at around 6pm and spent this evening sobering up  ;) ;D. A good day all round.

when I first read the thread title, I thought it was another spybot post...

but hey... any festival that celebrates longer days with seafood and beer sounds good to me  :D
