Need tires

Hey, anyone have some decent used tires layin around?

I'd like to suggest a new set of Shinko tires. Rick G swore by them and I've since bought two sets and quite happy with them. Just before buying the new tires, I rode used and wiped out on a corner, causing $1,000 damage to my (show) bike & gear. Lesson learned. Also ran the same series Shinko on my xj750 Maxim.

Looks like they dropped the fantastic deal they gave me with 2-day free shipping on orders over $100. Their ad now reads 2-day free shipping on orders over $149. Tires excluded. Now it looks like the 2nd tire is free according to the shipping details.

Good tip. Slight savings on the rear tire at $51.99 over Chaparral at $52.88. However, significant savings with the Superstore offering a 2-day free shipping on orders over $89...which I believe if you buy a front tire both will be covered. In either case, total cost will be between $100-$120 for a set of tires shipped. Sure beats the alternative name brands (Dunlop, etc) that guarantee a much quicker...thinning of the wallet.

Reputation is another consideration, I'm happy with Chaparral but have not dealt with the Motorcycle Superstore. Who here can vouch for the Superstore?
