so i have decided that my 6'6" 280lb body was too big for a 97 xr200, though i loved the bike, it was time to part, i am just too big( thats what she said). so i found a guy that was looking to trade his 1982 cr480r and 1980 km100 for an xr200. perfect.
It needs a little bit of work, and i am going to check out the bottom end to make sure all the bearings are good. I did get a chance to run her a bit though....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster than a vision, or any other bike i have been on for that matter. anyways, thats one of the reasons i havnt been on here in a while, that and i bought two more boats. just wondering if anyone has ever had any experience with the cr480r.....

A narley air cooled beast that will blow your hair back,  With that said it should be fun:)  The only faster bike is a cr500  vintage 1986!

Yea, I heard that in the AMA 500 class they used the 480 up until 85 or 86 because
They were a better bike until then
