I tried to change my avatar, for one of my own, but it doesn't change . it goes through all the monkey motion (good technical term) but the space is empty!

        click on    MODIFY PROFILE
            then    FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION
           check    I WILL UPLOAD MY OWN PICTURE
        click on    CHOOSE FILE ( add your avatar)
        click on    CHANGE PROFILE

Thanks for the input , that's what I did . It may be a problem with my Linix.

Its funny it worked just fine on the alternate site , but won't work here . I can  change to any of the provided avatars , but not one from my computer..

It turns out that the pic is too big , I'll have to figure out how o shrink it down,
