New Buell Model Announced

Erik Buell unveiled his 1190RX at the show in Florida today.

It's basically his 1125r frame/swingarm/engine with bigger jugs and pistons to make it 1190cc. It has new trimmings like a full fairing, LED headlights, a tuned exhaust design, etc. There are a lot of interesting little tweaks and styling elements too. I like the trellis undertail section. The brake scoops are interesting. It's a new airbox/intake design as well.

Anyway, it's little bit salty at 19k (especially considering that it's predecessor can be had in mint condition for 5k), but definitely a neat looking bike and step in the right direction! I'm excited that Erik Buell Racing has risen up out of the Harley Davidson ashes from '09. Made in USA!
