http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JhnLWXZzDw  here we can see the single carb.  Also a fantastic headlight with a built-in tach.

http://rocket39.blogspot.it/p/yamaha-xz-550.html  here are more pics.  Looks like he connected both cylinders left exhaust outlets together and the right exhaust outlets together.
Keep it upright and she'll always be happy!

How can you tell?  I looked at the video and couldn't see any evidence of a carb at all, except that it was running. ;)

The builder may be a member as I recall seeing these links before. Didn't he post a few times during the build?

Single carb Vision made his opening slavo with the thread about having a "kit" avaliable soon but hasn't responded to any bumps of his discussion.  Inqu iring minds and all . . . . . .  ???

I love the majority of the work that he did. I stumbled on his site before I saw this link. Does anyone have any idea how her got that handle bar assembly done or that carb change? I would love to get bars like that. The carb is also amazing but I have zero mechanics skill to accomplish that without some serious help.

As much as I like the round headlight, the square shape that has come stock has really won me over so I'm not sure I want to do that swap. I'm also curious about the seat? Do you think he did that with a stock seat or is that completely fabricated? I have so many questions, and such little time. Does anyone have a P.O.C. For the creator?

Hi AirborneJW  , I am happy that you like  my work , thanks!
The handle bars are 1980's Tommaselli Super Sport Oro diameter 35 mm, unfortunatley now out of production ... but online you can find something.. http://www.colacimoto.it/offerte_ricambi.asp
I have built the intake manifold in  stainless steel .. if you want I can build  one for you , no problem!  The seat it is hand fabricated , I built the frame then I did a coating by upholsterer. If you need more information you can contact me.

Thanks Rocket, I already sent you a PM with a question or two. My final realization for my Vision is one that is cafe'd alot like this. the seat looks great, the radiator change reserve mod is a great idea, does that effect any of the turning at all?
