Building an 82 with Upgrades

Thanks for the report dpequip. I've considered reinstalling my '82 bars but haven't yet. What fairing style (if any) are you currently using?

I couldn't agree more regarding the 82 rear shock. Mine had 6k miles on the clock when I bought it and the shock made the handling nothing short at a spirited pace.

I've got the Yamaha small Sport Fairing which Yamaha sold as an accessory.  I've had it since '84 and I like it.  It looks good and matches the style of the bike well.
