Hi all, I'm the ex XZ owner in New Zealand who had performed a fair few modifications to my old bike. These included, a single carb conversion (Webber IDF), enlarging frame bolts, Triumph TT600 rear shock conversion and normal handlebar conversion. I loved that bike but one day it just stopped at the gas station and time and funds did not allow me to find out why. I sold it to a chap in the South Island of new Zealand who was going to race it? I now have a 1984 XV500 Virago which has TCI issues. The TCI is not too different to the XZ and hopefully some members can advise me. I will log a separate post for this.
