Has anyone here stripped the paint from their wheels? I'm wondering what it might look like.
Opinions and/or photos would be greatly appreciated..

Both Luthers had their dreams,
But I've just got one Vision.
Theirs got them into strifes,
Mine just takes me fishin'.

fret not

Are you planning to run them as bare metal, or are you planning to paint them?  Colored wheels seems to be in vogue these days.  There is nothing wrong with bare metal wheels.   8)
Retired, on the downhill slide. . . . . . . . still feels like going uphill!

I was toying with the idea of running the ladies stark staring NAKED, albeit slightly polished, and wanted a bit of feedback as to potential pitfalls or glamourous virtue of doing so.

Corrosion? You can polish the finished surfaces but the cast portions are another matter. Clear coat would look ok for a while.
Whale oil beef hooked!

Do they do a clear powder coat. That would take care of the corrosion issue and look bare metal.

Yes, the risk of corrosion in such critical parts is a pretty big minus.

Yes, you can get good clear powders.

https://www.prismaticpowders.com/ has at least six different clears to choose from, including one that glows in the dark

lololol In the dark? How the heck would a fella hide from the law with a bike that glowed in the dark?  lolololololol
(not that I've ever had to do anything like that - much)

I think it would depend on the color of the bike. Bare wheels would contrast against the fork lowers on the front but maybe lost with the silver swingarm in the rear. Maybe bare wheels with black lowers and black swing-arm/final would look good.
