Who has the highest mileage Vision?

I'm curious who has the most miles on their Vision.I just have 7500 on mine but I've heard of 100,000 mile bikes before.

I bought a tankbag and went for around 500 miles last weekend, turned the clock over to 22,453 miles on my V.

Good thing I got all that great riding in, my rear base gasket started leaking oil, now it's sitting in the garage tore down waiting for new top end gaskets.   :P

Let see I purchased my Vision in 1984 (new)as a left over, and currently I have 28,000 miles on it. I think I put around 12,000 in the first three years. Haven't riden much last three years(health), but I do know one think I'm glad I don't have half the problems I read on this forum.  I guess I've been luckly. Also my Vision was the 270th made.

For got to say that V is an 1982. Here's some trivia: Back in '82 the Vision sold for $3,100, but in 1984 the price was only $1,999 with a $300 rebate! What a deal, but I had to give my wife half the rebate because this was my 2nd bike in 3 years. Also in 1984 for those that owned a Vision you could purchase a Vision belt buckle(I still have mine) and don't ask I wouldn't sell if for anything. One thing I didn't know was that they sold V in 84,85,and 86., also didn't know that they were painted white the only colors I knew were black, red, and silver.

The white color was in Canada and Europe. Anyway my '83 has 20k the '82 has almost 6k. Heck, I just got the '82 last year with 5k on it(needed work). I have 3 bikes. I also have 63k on my '87 Venture. Been cross-counrty on it. Decided on the Vision as a fun second bike. That it has been. So I rotate there usage. I walk into the garage and try to remember which on hasn't had a work out in a while. And try not to feel guilty when I ride just one...leaving the others in the garage "alone".

98.000 KM. Original engine has never been opened. Have had the usual trouble with stator, rear head gasket blown, original exhaust system gone and replaced with a Predator one, steering ball-bearings changed to roller bearings (recommended).

multiply KM by 0.6, and you get miles. 90,000 KM is 54,000 miles.  Beats my 38,000 miles, all with me in the saddle though :-)  Come to think of it, I don't think anyone else has ridden my bike after 4 miles, when I bought it new...

The last week I have returned from trip on Siberia.
7200 km far from Moscow in one side.
Vision feels like well :) On a way has met your fellow countryman Helge Pedersen on BMW.
I do not know what common milleage, because the original speedmeter does not work already for a long time. It stopeed on 52000 two years ago and i use velocomputer Sigma.

I did 48,000 miles in 5 years on my 1983. At that pace I would be at almost 200,000 miles today...darn, should have never sold it!
