So Im taking the "spare" into the shop cause Ive run out of time to get it running myself. Any way I know it needs the carbs rebuilt but, what would be the logical steps to have the shop go through. I.E the starter is getting replaced but, why replace the starter if the compression is bad. And if the compression is bad why rebuild the carbs... I hope you see what im trying to get at here at 100 + an hour were should they start.

Damn... 100 an hour eh?

Well compression takes next to no time, always good to do. You can check spark yourself (pull out a plug, or using a spare is easier- ground it to the bike, hit start- look for spark). All it needs next to run is fuel so carb clean is good. The stator if you're set on getting that done could be last.

100 an hour eh?

Starter.... not... stator
It's just hard to trust someone else with her....and my money..

Sorry I missed the "r", very silly of me. You do need the starter before the rest of it comes together.

Compression
Spark
Carbs.
