I wish I would have had this resource in college (University of Idaho) in 1987 when I was riding my '82 Vision and experienced my first stator failure.  I submitted my installation notes on replacing the Vision stator with the Venture stator to the newsletter back then.  I think it eventually burned out and I may have sent out for another stator (possibly Electrex, somewhere in the south) where it worked fine until I sold it to a gent there in Moscow.  I was one of the fortunate (I think) to have been able to get into the group purchase of the Gary Wolf 4 into 1 exhaust for the vision.  Does anyone out there that might have been a member then that got into the group purchase still have one of those?
I'm glad to see that people still find the uniqueness of the Vision something to hang on to.
