what oil do you guys use in your vision ??? and where do you buy your filters ?? i can go with dkirk or yamaha directly but would like some input

Filters are available at the dealership. Just got one two days ago... $5.95. As far as the oil goes. Do a search of the forum on "Oil Debate" there's enough information there to make your head spin.

Yes, much debate, but I have been using Castrol Syntec blend 10w40 (I am in Southern California...).  I have been very happy.

Ditto Superfly except I use 20W-50, especially with the high revs the engine sees.
as far as filters oil filters go, stay away from Fram, they are too tall & will crush when you tighten the cap. Genuine Yamaha or Emgo work fine.
