How many bikes, running or not, does everyone own at the moment?   I am currently down to five.
Two '82 Visions, one running and one parts bike
a 1993 Honda XR250R
a 1975 Honda CB750K
and a 1980 Honda Goldwing 1100, my current project bike.
shiny shiny....

DOWN to 4 bikes :)

two 82 visions (running and parts)

1998 Yamaha V-star 650 custom

1978 Yamaha gt80 (trail bike)

really had to cut back after movingout of the parents house and they didnt want all the bikes at home.  i think the most i ever had at one time (mine and others i was fixing for people) was around 9-10 (2 visions, 2 xs650s, cb600, some inline 4 yamaha from 86, my 78 gt80, 79 kl250, 98 vstar 650, and dads 2001 intruder 1500) was the best month of my life :)

 ?
 ?i currently have 4 bikes ,
1968 triumph bonnie ,streched /raked /chopped and locked engine
1990 kz 1100 sp, bagger - retired police bike that i am going to chop > bobber style hardtail
1982 vision ?fully restored and running great ,thanks to all here
1996 vulcan 88 i bought from wife's brother - he never learned to ride a motorcycle

?If we could ?only buy one of dan gurney's bikes , all of these would be for sale!! ?search :: alligator A6 ?

http://www.allamericanracers.com/alligator/alligator_rides.html

this has got to be a wild riding bike!

i am now down to two bikes:

as of 1/16/05 : scratch the bonnie, on 1/7/05 the bonnie bit the dust, gravel on roadway,, thanks to good gear, i only cracked some ribs, but the bonnie has passed away, too many sections to restore now .We can most likely scratch the vulcan too, lack of maint and poor riding habits may have rendered this one to the parts only level- avail on ebay in a week .
keep your bike running, your beer cold ,and your passport handy.all are like money in the bank .

I have three bike right now, two 1982  xz550rj's and a 1967 Yamaha YG1  trail bike. I hope to get it running this spring. Actually, I hope to get all of them running by spring, I'm starting to suffer withdrawl synptoms !!!  The spare Vision needs  carbs ,a battery, and the front brakes done.  My Vision rider needs me to finish putting the top end togeather and switch the engines. Does anyone have a spare carb cover for a 1967 Yamaha 80? lol

I own just the Vision.  For a few months in 1984, after buying the V, I had it and my 1980 Kawasaki KDX 175.  Fantastic starter bike.  Put lots of trail miles on it in the 3&1/2 years I owned it.  Learned how to crash & ride without needing to look out for cars (except when riding on forest roads).

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

Only have the Vision right now.... provided I get the opportunity, I would like to get my hands on a Rokon TrailBreaker!
1982 Yamaha Vision
1982 Motobecane 50V
1975 Kawasaki H-1
1972 Rokon Trailbreaker

tremalzo

I have two visions. A 1982 and a 1984 parts bike. Currently restoring the 82. Disassembled it this week to repaint the frame. Hope to get all done before spring.

between hubby and myself we have

vision - 3 and a half (the half is a motor only)
suzuki GS1000 - 2 (G & S -not R as previously posted)
SR250 yamaha - for sale!
3 wheel honda - for the kids
kawasaki GPZ600R - sister's old POS in OUR yard.

Hoping to be rid of the kwaka and the SR250 soon - but not holding my breath.
The visions are getting hard to get parts for so I tend to grab one when I see it. Think I'm gettin a bit carried away tho  ::)

Walt_M.

I now have just 2, the '83 Vision and an '03 YZ250F.
Whale oil beef hooked!

For the record, I have a total of six, although only three of them are currently road-worthy:

1993 Yamaha GTS-1000
1985 BMW K100RS
1983 Vision

The other three are all Visions - an '82 that was running when I bought it last spring, and two '83s that are not running. Between the three of them, I figure I have a pretty good shot at getting a second road-worthy '83 together for my younger son, with plenty of spare parts to keep them both running.

Oldbikefool

I'm almost embarrased to answer this, haven't thought about how out of control I've gotten.Guess this is why my email name is oldbikefool[just can't decide if the emphasis is on old or fool, my wife has an opinion for sure]

Running and can ride anytime
1982 Vision, 1980 XS 650 Special, 1980 XJ650 Maxim,1985 Suzuki Madura GV700.

Have had running but need some work[pretty easy to fix up]
1982 Virago 920, 1980 Suzuki GS450ST, 1971 Honda CL350 Scrambler, 1971 Honda CB450, 1976 KZ400.

Haven't had running but I have hope
1962 Honda 305 Dream, 1962 Honda 305 Superhawk, 1976 Honda CB750F.

Really no hope at all, maybe parts
1976 Honda CB500, 197? Honda CB125, and an extra frame and parts for the 650 Special.

I have less than $3000 invested in all of them for an average of $210. I guess my goal is to fix them, keep the older ones + any I get attached too and sell the rest to help me buy a Suzuki VStrom 650. I own a True Value Hardware Store + Rental Yard so I try to hire people who like bikes and can help work on them, at least that's my theory, usually just not enough time.

DancinOn1Wheel

i have a grand total now of 9 (maybe 11)

82 Yamaha Vision (in the process of rebuilding)
84 Interceptor VF750F (blown motor, not running)
84 Interceptor VF1000F (newly accquired - Barely runs right now)
85 Interceptor VF1000R (also newly accquired but not together)
85 Kawi GPz/Ninja 900 (same as the one in Top Gun! Runs Great)
95 CBR600F3 (blown motor, ex-race bike in rebuild process)
97 CBR600F3 (good working order now)
00 Suzuki TL-1000S (needs rubber but otherwise in good running order)
01 CBR600F4i (runs good but looks like shit - hi-sided)

04 Pepboys brand 50cc mini dirt bike (does this count?)
04 49cc pocketbike (and this one too?)

Posibly looking to pick up a 93 FZR600 and an 84 VF750C Magna but not sure yet...

and incase any of you were curious... i find these bikes at smokin deals so i clean them up (usually only paint/bodywork) and sell them... but unfortunately so much crap has gone on that i havent had time to work on any of them... lol, just keep building the collection and quickly running out of garage space.
