just watched this story on the a.m. news:

An officer who was guarding a prisoner in a local hospital, who was arrested for assaulting another officer, got tired while waiting for his replacement, so he RELEASED the prisoner!!!

So, if you ever get arrested in Providence, ask for officer Reed!!!

R.I.'s General Assembly just eliminated the requirement for scooter riders (not m/c) to have a licence.  these guys travel in packs around here..wimpy packs, but there are tons of them none the less...

Yup, I remember that well.  I used to have something like a 35cc moped that had pedals.  I used it for my paper route...I actually towed a trailer with it!  If I was going up hill or wanted to go faster, I just pedaled!!  LOL
