Hey All,  Thanks for all of the advise in getting the "Desert Rat" started.  Turns out it was the fuel pump on the Carbs.  I had a spare (how convienent!!) laying around, and after some fighting with her, she finally started.  I will post a picture, & you guys will laugh at how bad this bike looks!! The engine is strong, and I was actually able to keep her idiling @ 1500 RPM.  Now it is time to get all the sand off of her! I am just glad the engine works.
A bad marrage is like dirty carbs... It just makes everything else suck.

Hurray for Superfly!

Reminds me of one of the earliest mechanic tip I received way back. The engine needs a very few things to work: fuel, air (both in the right amount), spark, compression. This simple lesson did help me quite a few times when looking for the source of an engine trouble.

Can't wait to see the pics... We could start the "Ugliest Vision" contest?
