Tiger posted his first, and what a beautiful piece it was, at this time I have two son-in-laws full time Navy and my youngest son is currently in Virginia Beach, Virginia in training-he is in the Navy reserve.  Bless our men in the armed forces past and present.

This one is just for fun.

The night before Christmas……or what a dream I had last night!

My apologies to Clement Moore for what I have done to his great classic.

T’was the night before Christmas, when all through the house
The only creature stirring was a mechanical mouse!

The Vision was parked in the garage with great care,
In hopes that St. Lucky soon would be there;
The children were all gone; their beds are now empty,
But they still dream of their rides on Dad’s Vision!

And I in my new Joe Rocket pants sat at my desk,
Reading posts on the forum, I just could not rest.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I called up my lawyer to see what was the matter,
But this was a waste as he deals only with water.

So I went to the garage and threw up the door.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the luster of mid-day to objects outside.

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh and eight roaring Visions!

With a middle aged driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Lucky.

More rapid than V-stars his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

“Now Kiawrench! now, Motorplow! Now, Mutt and Night Vision!
On, Walt_m! on Rick_g! on, Superfly and Tiger!

All you Vision riders with thousands of posts!
Now crack open those throttles and let it all loose!

With a great roar the Visions then went,
Around curves, up mountains and once to Minneapolis.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard in the driveway,
The tinkle of hot engines, the chatter of riders.

As I zipped up my jacket, and was turning around,
Into the garage St. Lucky came with a bound.

He was dressed all in leather, from his head to his foot,
And his helmet was covered with dead bugs and soot.

A bundle of goodies he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a hardware man opening his pack.

With his pack open my heart took a leap!
A full 83 fairing, oh what a surprise!
Then carbs so shiny they blinded my eyes,
A stator and RR did come out next,
Then bearings, tires and a brand new gas tank!

He spoke not a word, and went straight to his work,
And installed all these goodies and made them all work!
He turned on the key and the V roared to life,
But then idled so smoothly I knew not to worry.

Then laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, out the garage he did stroll.
He sprang to his sleigh, all eight starters then whirled.

And as they roared off, I heard his exclaim,
Happy Christmas to all, I’m the Ace Hardware Man!

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA lets go again baby !!!!!!

Vision Rising, you had to have 800 plus posts or more to be one of Santa's Visions. (Yes, I went though all 22 pages of members to pick out the highest eight minus Lucky and H2O).  Some people just don't spend their time well do they?!
