Stopped at the stealer on the way home, and he said that Yamabond #4 is soon to be no more.  Something about EPA & California not liking what makes it work so well.  I made a comment about similar decisions had contributed to shuttle failures....

Anyone else heard the same or similar things?

let them kill it off, it cost twice as much as it needs to, - you can go to any GM dealership and buy "engine assembly adhesive" is chemically the same, and is in no way of ever being replaced for environmental reason. about half the price of yamabond line .
keep your bike running, your beer cold ,and your passport handy.all are like money in the bank .

Threebond 1104 is also the same stuff.  Prolly more $ than the GM engine assembly adhesive, but less than Yamabond.  Got a tube when the first stator went 3 years ago.  Still works great - as of this year's stator replacement.  Still have like 3/4 of the tube remaining.  Seems to store well.

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.
