I used those cheap vacuum caps when my YICS was leaking and they didn't last very ong at all so heres what I did.  I took two short lengths of fuel injector hose and plugged one end with a bolt and used a hose clamp to hold it on .  Then I capped each YICS port with one. Then I use the clamps that came on the YICS line to keep them atached to the ports. Worked like a charm.  I keep them in my tool box now for whern I tune and sync.

when I did that I got a 5mm/hg per minute vacuum leak!

so I use the standard vac caps, AND a tiny screw clamp,...now I get 0% vac loss

if I was NEVER going to run a YICS, I would cut threads in the nipple, and then lathe and tap a cap out of aluminum, use YELLOW PVC plumbers tape (yellow is for gas, or chemicals), cap it up and never worry about it again.
