production started approx. 9/80...so that's an early one.  What's the serial #   ? the high #'s above 11500 have improvements. Mostly to the carbs and water pump cover. But those carbs look like HELL.

The frame number is 11H 002243. There is no number on the engine.

On my project bike, both frame and engine carry number 11H 013657.  On this bike, the build date has been worn off the ID sticker.

You're right about the carbs looking bad.  They're not badly corroded, tho.  They should clean up OK.  The carbs on the project bike didn't look much better (except clean inside) and that bike ran.
