Kwaker, triples handle like they have a ball joint in the middle. To top it off the the front fork bushings, on the first 500's had 8 to 10 thou. clearence and the bike shuddered under hard breaking. I used to ride the crap out of the them on test rides, once did 118 indicated on the Riverside Freeway. I had a favorite corner , it had an enormous field to use as a runoff ,if the damed thing wouldn't go round the corner. :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
