On Weds Sept 3rd I rode my Vision down to KC, MO. I have a brother in that town and we went to the WWI museum that day.  On Thursday I met another VJMC member who loaded my Vision on the trailer with his bike and we then drove to Heber Springs, AR for the rally.  About 30 bikes took a 160 miles or so ride on Friday in the hills north of Heber Springs. On Saturday we had a bike show and the four guys I was with also took an afternoon ride. It was a nice trip, nice show, wish we would have had about one more day to see the area.

There will be a VJMC rally in Saint Joseph, MO next summer, date not picked yet, hope some of you can come!

Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Great pix, Don!  Think the V is tough to get running right?  Try synching the 6 carbs on that CBX!  There were certainly some nice bikes there.  Glad they'll be separating the trailer queens from the riders next year.

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

Thanks Don for the amazing pics. Most fun to look at.

oh, the good old days of a true motorcycle race champion. I spent so many Saturdays watching Kenny race on TV

Don, one question. I noticed in your pic that you keep you R/R exposed so the wind keeps it cool. Have you noticed a difference in reliability?

Uh, where did you live to see Kenny race on TV? He retired well before Speedvision or almost any moto racing TV coverage in the US.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA lets go again baby !!!!!!

'82 Vision, Pearl Orange finish, lots of up-grades!!!

I wish I couldve seen Kenny race, another guy Ive been near but havent met, is a friend of a friend who I would also have loved to have seen race.. Bugs. Dick Mann. My good friend Dan was a Richmond Rambler back in the day when Dick was, and there were about 5 or 6 other guys in that group who were also top notch racers... I was born too late!

The RR brackett is from Kevin, does it improve things, I don't really know, I will say that in 34000 miles I have only done one stator but Kevin's brackett has only been on the last ten. I would think it sure doesn't hurt!
