I'm still thinking of possible colors and nicknames for the V.  I've seriously considered doing a desert tan with a vinyl Browncoat emblem on the tank and calling it the Independent. 8)

However I just had an oddball thought to have someone come up with some sort of unique plaid design (yes, plaid) and call it the Scotsman. ;D

Ah well, still have a fair bit of time before painting's a worry.

Ah, such fun to be out riding...

Studebaker made a car called the Scotsman, in the 60's  And I believe Chrysler  made a car in the 50's with a plaid  interior , also the Horn played 'My bonnie lies over the Ocean"  It seems to Me it was a wood trimmed body, convertable. But I don't remember what it was called

Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something,
wearing stripes with plaid comes easy.

That photo is of Ponch & Jon = from the early 80s TV show "CHiPs".

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

Yeah, I'm old enough to have caught it. ;) Don't think they were TOO far off from actual though.  Then again I'd never been to California in that time so can't be sure. :P
