I passed here on my way to work.  (photo not taken today though...)

As an aid to the visual.  At this point I am actually in the Presidio at the Arguello gate overlook.  You can see the Palace of Fine Arts theatre (the dome on the right), and almost directly behind it is Alcatraz Island.  Off to the left is Angel Island State park (the hills directly under the clouds).  The city way off in the distance between Alcatraz and Angel Island is Richmond, where they have the "Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Park"...

Brian - you really need to move someplace with nice scenery for your commute.

Nice photo.  Familiar landmarks from the movies (never been to the San Francisco area) - I think I see the Presidio & Alcatraz.

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.
