mirror boots

Are the mirror boots still available from yamaha? If not, I may have a place to reproduce them.

Not for sure certain, I think other Yamamodels used the same or similar boots.   A few years ago I ran across a parts and accessory catalog that sold replacement mirrors for crotch rockets.  Seems they had mirrors and boots that I thought at the time might be viable V replacements.  Look around in the crotch rocket parts and accessory market place.

There is a place doing reproductions, but they are priced about $80.  That price may well be a legitimate reflection of the costs of production in low volume.  But it is more than I care to to spend

Yamaha is out of stock.  I got a pair of the reproduction base pads from http://www.bdesigns.ca/Reproductions.htm  they couldn't be better quality, and probably not much different from the Yamaha price anyway.
