I remember how I felt when I started riding. (ya big deal 4 years ago) Its a wonder I am still alive some times. these few grays hairs I do have were well earned.

Colorado tinkered with their insurance laws (again) last year.  I went from paying $75 / yr for each V for liability only to $90 for Silver V for full coverage & $250 deductible and $35 / yr. for liability only on Tractor.  Pretty good rates from State Farm.  However, State Farm will insure a bike here only if you also insure a car with them and they give no discount for taking the MSF courses.  Still, for me, State Farm is the least expensive insurance I've found.  Good thing, since I've been insured by them on all my vehicles since 1976.

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

Here in Alaska State Farm wanted $250 per year for the old Beemer and it is not runnig yet and told me to talk to the SF folks in CO for the "V" insurance.
The "lizard" Co.  said  $100 for both bikes per year.  I can only ride one at a time.  So, I went with GAICO.
