NITROPOLIS

Hello to the Riders of Vision. My first post here. I'm in the middle of restoring my '82 Vision and I cleaned my fuel tank out by means of electrolysis. Seamed to work
fairly well. I left it in the tank for 3 days. My question is, Is there any baffling in this tank? Is the tank one big chamber or multiple chambers? I'm cleaning it out and going to line it with POR15. I've had the bike for 5 years doing a few fixes along the way. I love this bike. I tried to post a picture of it in the Riders Gallery, but I'm waiting for admin. approval, so I'll post a pic here. thanks for all your help. Nitropolis

No baffles.  POR15 is the way to go.

The Prophet of Doom

It's past June 15th.  Is the bike together now?

NITROPOLIS

Of coarse not. got everything in primer. I rented a Triumph Tiger 800 for the week end. took it motorcycle camping. we camped near Nevada City, CA. Rode
HWY 89 from Truckee, North to HWY 49 back down to Grass Valley, CA. incredible weekend. Then bought a BMW K75s. So now I can get my riding fix.
and take my time. with the Vision. Don't want to rush it. I figure im going to spend more than the bike is worth. I plan on keeping this bike. and enjoying it for quit
some time. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

fret not

That's in my neck of the woods! (Grass Valley)  I see you are in Modsto, only a couple hours away, and there are a few other vision owners closer to you.
Retired, on the downhill slide. . . . . . . . still feels like going uphill!

Once it's up and running we shall ride.
