Sounds like a right dodgy service.  Did you get the registration keys in an email?  If so you should be able to get the media off someone else and still install.  Otherwise if you have a simple cheap legal route for small claims like they do here (only $30 to file, and no lawyers allowed) you could make a claim for your money back.
